At CEX.IO, investors will pay fees for deposits and withdrawals (depending on chosen method), exchanging digital assets, use of margin, and loans.

CEX.IO Platform Maker-Taker Fees
CEX.IO uses a Maker-Taker system for trading fees. Based on trade volume within a 30-day rolling period, the fees are adjusted.
Trading volume is calculated in BTC, and higher frequency traders are rewarded for their presence on the exchange.
Deposit and Withdrawal Fees
Depending on the choice of deposit and withdrawal, fees can vary considerably on CEX.IO.
For U.S. customers, the only available currency for deposits and withdrawals is USD. Options include credit cards, epay, advcash, skrill, wire transfer, and ACH. The least costly methods are epay, advcash, and ACH, while the most expensive options will depend on the amount being deposited and withdrawn.
For international users, USD, EUR, GBP, and RUB are available, though CEX.IO does tailor availability to specific regions and nationalities. For that reason, it is possible that international users will only have access to one or two of the available fiat options.

Credit Cards
Deposits and Withdrawals with credit cards make it very easy to purchase digital currencies, but that convenience comes at a cost. Users at CEX.IO will experience the highest deposit and withdrawal fees using a card option.
Only Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
The deposit commissions for each are set at 3.99% per transaction.
Withdrawals with both Visa and MasterCard cost up to 2.5%, plus an additional $5 for the service fee and commission.
Bank Wires and Digital Wallets
Deposits and withdrawals for digital wallets (Skrill, Epay, Qiwi, etc.) are possible at CEX.IO, as are wire transfers, but as some payment services are regional. Not all users will have access to every available option. The cost of each also varies considerably (see below).

Deposits and Withdrawals on CEX.IO are fee free. However, brokerage users are depositing and withdrawing funds to and from their CEX.IO wallet. For transfers in and out of CEX.IO, the standard fees apply (see above).
Trading Fees on CEX.IO Broker
Trading fees on CEX.IO come in three parts: an open fee, a close fee, and a rollover fee. Associated fees are 0.05%, 0.05%, and 0.6% respectively.

CEX.IO Crypto-backed Loan Fees
While not available to all customers in every region, the crypto-backed loans offered at CEX.IO are quite popular. The fees associated with the loan program include an annual interest rate and a service fee.
The annual interest rate ranges from 8.75% to 14%, depending on the size and term of the loan. The service fee is set at 1%.
